Dr. Gideon Hadas is Director of the Ein Gedi Oasis Excavations archaeological delegation, a partner in the Dead Sea Coastal Survey, and a researcher at the Dead Sea and Arava Science Center. His current research involves archaeological surveys of the Dead Sea coasts as well as revealing the largest dwelling house by the ancient synagogue of the 6th C. of Ein Gedi village. The author of several publications on the archaeology and history of Ein Gedi, Dr. Hadas earned his Ph.D. at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
