The site of Nahal Efe is situated between the city of Dimona and and the Dead Sea. The site is one of the larget Pre-Pottery Neolithic B settlements in the Negev. It is situated not far from the desert margins, close to the lush Mediterranean zone and to the Transjordanian villages on the north as well as to the arid regions forager encampments.

This season will focus on two areas that have not been investigated before in an effort to expose some of the larger habitation units and perhaps locate the earliest phase of Nahal Efe.
