Duke Archaeologists Hold Online Office Hours

Bible and archaeology news

If you have questions about Biblical archaeology, get them ready! This Thursday, September 1 at noon EST, Duke University professors and renowned Biblical archaeologists Eric and Carol Meyers* will hold live, online “office hours” that will be open to anyone with an Internet connection. The Meyerses, who have worked on digs in Israel for more than three decades and made some of Biblical archaeology’s most spectacular discoveries, including the “Mona Lisa of the Galilee” mosaic at Sepphoris,** will answer questions about archaeology, Jewish history and recent controversies surrounding artifacts related to the Bible. To pose a question, either before or during the webcast, send an email to [email protected], tweet with the tag #dukelive or post to the Duke University Facebook page.
